Terms and Conditions

 

 

 

Reservations 

A provisional reservation of a place may be made via email or over the phone. If over the phone this must be followed up via email or letter within 7 days or immediately if within 14 days of the course commencement date. A delegate’s place is not allocated until written confirmation is received. 

 

Payment 

Private courses – full payment must be made as soon as an invoice is sent to you. This will be part of the booking confirmation.

Open courses – full payment must be made within 14 days of booking; an invoice will be again sent and on receipt of payment your place will be confirmed. 

Payments can be made in cash, BACS or by cheque. Cheques must be made payable to Amanda Salt.

 

Confirmation

For all courses, confirmation of a course place will be made only on receipt of full payment. 

 

Cancellations

If a space needs to be cancelled, the following applies-

More than 30 days prior to course date 25% of course fee

30 -14 days 50% of course fee

Less than 14 days 100% of course fee

 

Delegates can be substituted at any time before course commencement.

 

Cancellation by Seedlings Training Services

Seedlings Training Services will endeavour to give a minimum of 30 days’ notice if they need to cancel a course. In such circumstances a full refund will be given, or an alternative date offered. 

 

Insurance

Seedlings Training Services are fully insured, holding the following cover 

Public Liability £5m

Professional Indemnity £1m

ID

All delegates must provide photo ID when they attend. If attending a FAW requalification course, a copy of the delegate’s FAW certificate must be sent prior to attendance. 

 

Social Media

Seedlings Training Services might, on occasion, take photographs of delegates during the courses. This is for social media accounts. If you do not want photos taken, please inform your trainer. 

 

Delegate age, fitness and disposition

The duties of a first aider can be physically demanding. Therefore, all delegates must be physically able to kneel on the floor and administer CPR. A First Aider must have the necessary disposition and communication skills, be reliable and be able to cope with stressful and physically demanding medical emergencies.  All first aiders must be 16 years old and above.

Safeguarding requires all delegates must be 18 years old and above.

 

Course Timings

Courses usually run between 9am and 5pm. If you require different hours, then this can be accommodated. A delegate’s place will be void (with no refund) if they are unable to attend any part of the course.
